Although the world celebrates World Read Aloud Day today, February 3rd 2021, the CVE would like to continue this celebration throughout the month of February. Therefore, we would like to introduce CVE’s Read Aloud Initiative. What better way to celebrate World Read Aloud Day than with your own virtual read-aloud, enjoyable anytime and anywhere?
This year, for the month of February, we invite all our CVE members to submit a short clip of themselves reading one of their favourite books aloud. Submissions can be posted on our CVE Forum page, under the post, “Read Aloud Initiative”, with the tag #WorldReadAloudDay. We encourage all members to click the heart for the videos that they liked. A great prize is in store for the post with the most likes. Share the website with your friends and coworkers so that they can sign up and share in the fun! We look forward to your submissions.
