On August 1st, 1976, Trinidad and Tobago gained total control of its own destiny as a sovereign nation among the Commonwealth of Nations.
Let us control our destiny by planting seeds of patriotism, entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation in our young charges, through education, to ensure that our future as a sovereign nation is in the best of hands.
